TERMS & CONDITIONS (UK ONLY)
(The small print bit)
In these conditions:
"We" "us" "our" means the seller known as Keys By Post;
"You" "your" refers to buyer, yourself, valued customer;
"Goods" you guessed it, the items we supply;
"Contract" means the contract for the purchase and selling of goods incorporating the conditions.
2 Order acceptance and sale
2.1 We invite you to use our "FREEPOST" address only for the purpose of placing an order.
2.2 It is your responsibility to address the order by the correct name of goods you are requesting followed by,
Keys By Post, FREEPOST NAT17171, BANBURY, OX17 2BR
2.3 You by sending the correct payment by post or electronically via PayPal will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
2.4 Supply of an order to you is subject to availability of stock.
2.5 No responsibility will be accepted by us for any lost or mislaid orders or money in the post. Proof of postage
will not be accepted as proof of sending.
3.1 All orders will be paid in GB £ pounds sterling by cash/ cheque/ postal order, payable to Keys By Post or via pay-pal.
3.2 Goods ordered from us will be at our price at the date of dispatch.
3.3 Any prices shown in advertisements are placed in good faith but may be subject to change.
3.4 We will have the right to return your money if we can not fulfill your order, due to sudden increases in our
costs to supply.
4 Delivery, Damage or Loss in Transit
4.1 Delivery commitments are entered into in good faith by us.
4.2 It is our aim to return your order within 14 days of receipt, using a postal service provider.
4.3 We will not be liable to deliver on a set date.
4.4 No claim for non- delivery of goods is recognised by us, unless notice in writing is received from you within
28 days of our despatch.
4.5 You agree to indemnify us from all loses resulting from your failure to comply with these conditions.
5 Defective Goods
5.1 Goods claimed by you to be defective must be returned by you at your cost within fourteen days of discovery
of defect, provided this falls within six months of original despatch.
5.2 If we agree that the goods in question were originally supplied by us in a defective condition, we will if practical
replace the goods originally ordered, or if in your opinion replacement is not practical we will credit the value of
5.3 Our liability with respect to any defects in goods supplied shall be limited to our obligations under this condition.
We shall not be liable to any claim for work done by you in respect of defective goods nor for any loss, damage,
liability or expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly of any such defective goods.
5.4 No goods may be returned by you without prior agreement from us. Goods will be credited in full if retuned in
good condition, with carriage paid by you. Any goods returned via our FREEPOST address will not be credited
5.5 This provision does not and will not affect your statutory rights.
6 Force Majeure
Yes the condition where we shall not be liable to you if we fail our obligation to you under a contract due to
circumstances beyond our control ie. War, fire, flood, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism, shortage of supply etc.
This list is not exhausted.
A cancellation of an order by you will be made in writing as soon as possible, any money paid will be credited minus
the postage and handling incurred by us at the current rates.
8.1 If any provision of these conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or part,
the validity of other provisions of these conditions and the remainder of the provision shall not be affected.
8.2 You will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that our confidential information is not disclosed in any way to a
third party. Except where we have given permission to do so.
8.3 If any dispute is entered into by you and ourselves it will be conducted in accordance with the laws of England. We
both shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts for settlement of all disputes or claims which may
arise out of or in conjunction with the contract.
